Doug Fullerton reviewed this product on 11/22/05 While I am a horrible golfer (can't break 100), I ordered these clubs as part of a full set (2hy-5hy) along with the Pinemeadow ML irons. I was able to try them for the first time today. These hybrids are amazing compared to long irons. They feel smoother, travel further, and are much more forgiving. With all the clubs, I could feel that my ball-striking capabilities were not correct (lack of skill), however, even my extreme mis-hits (be careful how you spell the previous) advanced my ball decently, if not perfectly. The few times I hit a ball correctly, the distance, loft, and feel was awesome. I am a believer! Thank you to the entire team. Now, does anybody at Pinemeadow offer lessons?

Brian reviewed this product on 11/14/05 I've had trouble deciding what to say in my review of this club. To make it simple ... This is an effective club. The price : performance ratio of this club rips apart the Callaway Heavenwood. I can now way that I've tried both and this club feels just as nice. I also tested it against my Callaway X12 3 iron. I creamed the pinemeadow hybrid iron compared to the "original" 3 iron. And the hybird was far more accurate. The club is so well crafted that a solid ball strike was effortless. The launch angle was perfect, and the acuracy was spot on. Keep up the good work Pinemeadow! I'm going to get an iron set from you as soon as I recieve my B.S in a few semesters. I can't wait. This club will help you keep a steady swing and still cream the ball. Give yourself some peace of mind on the course. Replace your long irons with these clubs.

Michael reviewed this product on 11/12/05 If you are approaching 50 years of age as I am, you would probably be wise to try these hybrids. I ordered the # 2, 3,4, and 5 with steel stiff shafts and Winn midsize grips. I am very pleased with the purchase. These clubs are very easy to hit and have made me a much more consistent ball striker. The ball flight is high, but not ballooning. I too had considered buying the Callaway hybrids...thank goodness I did not..don't waste your money. These are just as good if not better. Have not had the clubs long enough yet to nail down exactly how far I hit them...but the # 5 is about 175-185...# 4...190-200...# 3....205-215....# 2...225-235...again those are just rough estimates at this point...have to take them to the course to get truer yardages. Michael...handicap 4...(probably scratch soon though :))

David Rolfe reviewed this product on 11/06/05 Gone are the days of topping my 3 iron. I just don't carry it any more. There's no point when these things work so well. My playing partners had a go with my 3 and 5 hybrids at the range, and liked them so much that I wouldn't be surprised if they had bought some of these by the end of the year.

Stephen Coffey reviewed this product on 11/02/05 I just got a 4-hybrid through your fall sale and I tried it on the driving range. It's definitely easy to hit and I found I could shape shots quite easily. It was falling in at about the distance I was hitting my existing 7-wood. It's a bit shorter than the 7 and I'm looking forward to using it on my upcoming vacation in Nevada. It's a good looking club, with a cover too, and well made. Excellent value!
